Manufacturing Handpieces Sustainably With Solar Power

On August 19, 2016, Lares Handpieces activated its new 238 kW roof top solar power generation system, bolstering its efforts to manufacture its dental handpieces sustainably. Consisting of 728 solar panels, the system is designed to generate enough power to provide 78% of the Lares 30,000 square foot factory’s annual power consumption. We are proud to have dramatically reduced our carbon footprint while still manufacturing the highest quality dental handpieces available.
